United Way of Bradley County worked with both the University of
Tennessee at Chattanooga and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville
on two needs assessments in late 2007 and early 2008.
The assessments were performed to help identify unmet needs in our
community. The UTC study included information gathered from interviews
with many in the community, including service providers, to pinpoint those
unmet needs, while UTK study analyzed statistics to see how the
demographics of the community may give more information about those
needs and how to prepare for the future.
